MANTIS — Terms of Use

1. About MANTIS
MANTIS is a spot-the-difference game provided by VERTALIX S.A.S., Uruguay. Contact: support@vertalix.com. Address: Avenida Luis Alberto de Herrera 1248 (WTC), Tower II, Office 1416, 11300 Montevideo, Uruguay.

On first launch, choose “Under 18”, “18 or over” or “Prefer not to say” and review the linked privacy information. Only that choice is stored locally; no exact age or birth date is requested. If you are a minor, use and purchases may require permission from your parent or guardian under applicable rules.

These terms govern your use of MANTIS. If you do not agree, stop using the game. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

2. Playing and saving
You may use MANTIS for personal, non-commercial entertainment. No player account is currently required. Progress, settings and replay history are stored on your device. Progress is not currently synchronised between devices. Uninstalling the game or losing device data may erase your progress; we cannot guarantee recovery.

Levels and illustrations may be downloaded from our servers. An internet connection is required for downloads and advertisements. Your network provider may charge for data. Previously downloaded content may be available offline.

3. Advertisements and rewards
The game may show advertisements between levels or before replaying a level. Optional rewarded videos may offer a hint, revival or extra time. The advertising provider must confirm completion before a reward is granted. Availability is not guaranteed; cancelling or failing to complete a video may mean no reward is granted.

Advertising privacy choices are separate from optional gameplay statistics. You do not have to consent to personalised advertising to play. Development builds use test advertisements. A non-consumable Remove automatic ads purchase removes automatic interstitials between levels and before replays. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Optional rewarded videos remain available where permitted; purchasing does not grant their rewards automatically. The store displays the applicable local price before confirmation. Purchases, payment, refunds and purchase authorisation are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play under their applicable rules. Restore purchases from the pause offer using the same store account; purchases are not transferred between Apple and Google accounts. Availability depends on the store and release.

4. Fair use and intellectual property
The game, interface, illustrations, audio and other content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive permission to use the game. Do not redistribute game assets, bypass security, interfere with our services or use the game unlawfully. These restrictions do not remove permissions granted by mandatory law or applicable third-party licences.

5. Replay results and reminders
Scores and evolution charts describe performance within the game. They are for entertainment and are not medical assessments or validated measurements of memory or cognitive health.

Optional reminders can invite you to replay completed levels. You can disable them in the game or device settings. Delivery depends on your operating system and notification permissions.

6. Availability and updates
We may correct errors, update content or change features. Development versions may contain unfinished features. We aim to keep the game working but cannot promise uninterrupted service, permanent availability of every level or compatibility with every device.

We do not exclude liability or statutory remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you encounter a problem, contact support so that we can investigate.

7. Privacy and support
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional analytics, crash reports, advertisements, providers and your rights. Read it in Settings → Privacy.

For assistance, include the game version and a description of the problem in an email to support@vertalix.com. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information.

8. Changes
We may update these terms as the game develops. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-game or service notice when required by applicable law. Your mandatory rights remain unaffected.
