MANTIS — Privacy Policy
Updated: 23 October 2026 · Version 1.1.0
Application: com.vertalix.mantis
Who is responsible?
VERTALIX S.A.S., Uruguay. Avenida Luis Alberto de Herrera 1248 (WTC), Tower II, Office 1416, 11300 Montevideo. For privacy requests or support, email support@vertalix.com and mention MANTIS. Do not send passwords or banking details.
Your game and downloaded content
Progress, settings, results and replay history, including times, hints, errors and attempts, are stored on your device. No account is required. Progress is not currently synchronised across devices. Evolution charts describe gameplay performance; they are not clinical assessments of memory or health.
Local progress
This version does not ask you to sign in to a gaming profile. Your progress and collection remain stored on this device. MANTIS does not synchronise your progress through a platform gaming account.
Optional gameplay statistics
Gameplay statistics are initially disabled. You can enable or disable them in Settings → Privacy. The choice covers Vertalix statistics and Google Analytics for Firebase. Declining does not prevent play.
If enabled, Vertalix receives sessions, game starts and results, duration and hints, with level, platform, app version, date and random installation and event identifiers. Firebase also receives actions such as correct and incorrect answers and hints, with level, attempts and play time. We do not send touch coordinates as analytics. These data are pseudonymous, not fully anonymous.
Google may process app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, language, usage and approximate location inferred from the connection. We do not send your name or email in these events or set an account User-ID. Analytics consent for advertising personalisation remains disabled. Google and Vertalix reports are consulted separately in our private dashboard.
Disabling statistics stops new gameplay analytics, clears the local collector queue and identifier and requests a local Analytics reset when initialised. It does not automatically delete data already sent. The local queue holds up to 512 events for a maximum of six days.
Optional crash reports
Crash reports control Firebase Crashlytics independently of statistics and are initially disabled. If enabled, technical crash information, stack traces, installation identifiers and app, device and system details may be sent, including previously saved reports. Restart MANTIS after disabling this setting to apply the change completely. Previously sent reports are not automatically deleted.
Advertisements and rewards
Compatible versions may display automatic interstitial advertisements when moving to a new level or replaying an earlier level, before gameplay begins. Server configuration controls frequency, minimum intervals and a break after voluntary videos. The current policy has no daily or session maximum. If an advertisement is unavailable, gameplay continues.
Google AdMob is the primary advertising platform, with Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize as advertising networks. Videos for hints or extra time are voluntary. Rewards are granted when the SDK confirms completion. Test builds use test advertising. Store versions use the advertising configuration applicable to their release.
Providers may process IP addresses, approximate location, technical or advertising identifiers where available and permitted, device characteristics, advertisement interactions, performance and diagnostic information to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud and, with appropriate permission, personalise it. Non-personalised advertising may still involve technical data processing.
Where required, Google UMP presents consent options before advertising requests. You can revisit available choices in Settings → Privacy → Advertising options. You can reject or withdraw consent; playing does not require consent to personalised advertising. Video rewards require an available, completed advertisement. Gameplay analytics consent is separate.
The current iOS integration does not request ATT tracking authorisation or access the IDFA through that permission. On first launch, choose “Under 18”, “18 or over” or “Prefer not to say”; no choice is preselected. Only that choice is stored on the device, not an exact age or birth date. Earlier age groups map to under 18 or adult without changing game progress. Advertising remains disabled until welcome is complete. All age groups can receive advertisements with a general-audience content rating. Under-18 and undisclosed profiles request contextual, non-personalised ads with child-protective treatment and are not asked for personalisation consent. Availability depends on providers and connectivity. Optional telemetry is separate: only profiles choosing “18 or over” can enable analytics or crash reports in Settings. Other profiles do not enable optional telemetry. Contact support about requests relating to children’s data.
Purchases and store reviews
The optional, non-consumable Remove automatic ads purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play through Unity In-App Purchasing. The store handles payment details; MANTIS does not receive your card number. The app uses store product identifiers, purchase receipts and local ownership status to activate and restore the purchase. Ownership is separate from saved gameplay progress and optional analytics. Store review requests open the native store interface or the public store page; MANTIS does not receive your written review through the game.
Optional reminders
With your permission, MANTIS schedules local reminders. The app prepares the next seven days and recalculates them when you return. Messages mention available replays only after their 48-hour waiting period; otherwise they invite you to play. Delivery depends on system permissions and scheduling. These reminders use locally stored progress and device notification services without a remote push token. You can decline at first launch or disable them in the game or system settings.
Providers and international transfers
Our hosting provider processes connections and information necessary to operate the service. Google provides Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob and UMP; Unity Ads and Liftoff Monetize provide advertising services. Providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their terms and applicable transfer mechanisms.

Purposes and legal bases
Necessary information is processed to provide the game, download levels and respond to support requests. Optional analytics and crash reporting rely on your consent. Technical logs support operation, security and abuse prevention, based on legitimate interests where applicable. Advertising uses consent when required and the choices presented by the provider. We do not directly sell your personal data.
Retention
Progress remains on your device while you retain the installation or its backups. Uninstalling may delete it; we do not hold a recoverable copy of your game. Privacy preferences may remain in device backups.
The backend cleans detailed events and technical logs according to its configuration and retains aggregate reports for gameplay comparisons. Daily activity data older than 180 days is removed; inactive player identifiers are removed when no associated activity remains under that cleanup. Backups have their own retention cycle. Google and advertising networks apply their service retention policies and controls. You can request information or deletion of data relating to you.
Support emails and their contents are retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@vertalix.com. We request only information needed to verify and handle your request. Random identifiers may limit our ability to locate gameplay data using an email because we do not link gameplay analytics to your platform gaming account.
You may complain to a competent data-protection authority, including Uruguay's Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales and, where applicable, the authority in your country of residence. Withdrawing permission or uninstalling does not automatically erase data already processed by providers.
Changes
We will update this information before introducing materially different processing and request permissions where required.
